Bethenny Frankel collaborates with Telmark Packaging and Ariel Labs

Housewives everywhere will soon be able to copy the style of Bethenny Frankel, one of the stars of Bravo’s “Real Housewives of New York” and the upcoming “Bethenny’s Getting Married.” Known for sharing her secrets for healthy living, Frankel has embarked on a new venture, collaborating with Eric Ludwig of Telmark Packaging Corporation and Peter Bohm of Ariel Labs to develop a unique line of skin care products inspired by the most nutritious ingredients in her favorite recipes. The line, called Honest by Bethenny, aims to nourish women’s skin and make the process of maintaining healthy skin “stress-free and delicious.” “My skin care is honest, because it doesn’t promise you a facelift in two days,” says the star. “I don’t use trendy ingredients to get people temporarily excited for the moment, and no one from NASA claims to have worked on this line. Honest skin care is a natural, affordable accessible skin care line that will give you beautiful glowing skin if you are consistent. Its simplicity in nature and procedure makes it easy to incorporate into your everyday routine, as well as when you travel. Honest is affordable because the money is in the product rather than in fancy overpriced packaging,” says Frankel. Frankel turned to her own kitchen ingredients to formulate the Honest by Bethenny line when she became frustrated with the skin care products currently available. She not only had plans for the formulations, but had specific ideas for the packaging as well. When looking into her own cabinet and noticed that the round bottles of her current products created a messy, unorganized look, she insisted on the square and rectangular containers, giving the consumers one more element that is stress-free. Honest by Bethenny will launch in the first quarter of 2010. Future plans for the line include a travel-sized kit for when housewives are away from home.
